Maintenance & Preservation of Environmental Assets, Cecil, Kent, & Queen Anne's Counties, MD

This project is for the maintenance and preservation of environmental assets in Cecil, Kent and Queen Anne’s Counties (District 2). Environmental assets include landscape planting beds and tree pits, tree planting sites, wetlands, and stream sites. This work involves the completion of various management activities on a regular schedule in compliance with the contract specifications. Management of Landscape Areas activities include pruning and foliage removal of perennials, ornamental grasses, bulbs, and flower stalks, weed control within landscape planting beds, and litter and debris removal within the limits of the managed areas. Management of Turf Areas activities include mowing and trimming and related work. Work associated with Management of Landscape Areas and Management of Turf Areas will be performed within the Administration’s Right-of-Ways in Cecil, Kent and Queen Anne’s Counties, District 2. Crew for Environmental Asset Management and Crew for Insect Pest Management will be performed as directed throughout the Administration’s Rightof-Way and Easements held by MDOT SHA, and in areas under agreement with MDOT SHA in Cecil, Kent and Queen Anne’s Counties, District 2.
