Elliott St at Echo Ave Intersection Improvement Project, Beverly, MA

The work under this Contract consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment required to reconstruct the intersection of Elliot Street at Echo Avenue in the City of Beverly, MA. The Project scope is centered around improving pedestrian connectivity from Echo Ave to Route 62, including improving vehicle operations and safety issues along Route 62 and Echo Avenue. This includes the installation of a traffic signal at the intersection. The Project will also improve pedestrian mobility and safety by providing an exclusive pedestrian phase, including ADA/AAB compliant sidewalks along both sides of all roadways, pedestrian curb ramps and crosswalks across all approaches. The proposed improvements includes a new traffic signal system, cement concrete sidewalks, cement concrete wheelchair ramps, granite curbing, including pavement markings, signage, landscaping, and other incidental items necessary to complete the work shown on the plans and specifications. Construction is to begin no sooner than September 7, 2021. The project shall be substantially completed no later than November 15, 2021 and completed by June 30, 2022.
