Districtwide Hood Cleaning Services, Killeen, TX

The District is seeking an “on call” contractor on an “as-needed” basis to perform vent hood cleaning services and maintenance for all campuses within Killeen ISD. Due to the present growth of the District, there may be additional facilities added throughout the course of this bid. These services will include providing all equipment, personnel, and maintenance services as specified in the specification packet located within the "Attachments" tab. There is a campus listing, that includes addresses, also located within the "Attachments" tab. There are some campuses listed that are currently not being utilized (this is notated on the campus listing), however, they are listed due to the possibility of future usage. Only campuses that are currently being occupied on the campus listing are included in the forecasting and cost analysis spreadsheet so the number of campuses listed will not match the number of campuses that we are requesting pricing for. There is the possibility that current campuses may move to an unoccupied campus in the future so pricing is being requested to prepare for this possibility. All changes will be communicated with the awarded vendor if/when these adjustments are needed. Billed pricing will need to follow the pricing submitted in the RFP according to the campus being utilized. The District reserves the right to re-evaluate the contract during the contract period and cancel the contract due to unsatisfactory services. The services may be awarded to a Primary and Secondary Vendor according to the bid pricing, however, if the primary is unavailable during the requested time, the District reserves the right to contract with the Awarded Secondary Vendor. Bonds required. This proposal will be effective from date of award through August 31, 2022 and will automatically be renewed for four (4) years in one (1) year increments unless either party provides written notice not to renew ninety (90) days prior to renewal. KISD, may at its sole option, extend this bid for an additional sixty (60) days from the date of expiration, under the same pricing and terms and conditions if it is determined by the District that additional time is required to avoid a contract lapse. The District, through its duly authorized constituted officials, reserves the right to accept any offer in its entirety or in part, any offer deemed most advantageous to the Killeen Independent School District and to waive any formalities in bidding.
