Description
New construction of approximately 2,030 LF of wastewater line ranging from 10" to 21" with the purpose of replacing the existing, out-dated system. Existing wastewater system, adjacent to the new construction is to be abandoned by removal of existing manholes and collapsing a minimum of 5-ft of existing wastewater lines which tie-in to said manholes. The project also includes a boring (30" casing with 15" carrier pipe) underneath the existing private railroad spur at the intersection of Avenue "L" and 1st Street. New manholes, of which there are 9 are to be spray lined and include drop-, extra depth and "dog house" configurations. The system being replaced is live and bypass pumping will be required. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
