Description

The goal for this project is to design and construct preliminary and primary treatment upgrades as well as a new phosphorus side stream treatment process. This preliminary and primary treatment upgrades will replace aging equipment that will serve current flows, including future buildout. The phosphorus side stream treatment process will remove phosphorus from the system and reduce the need for high chemical usage annually while continuing to meet permit requirements. In addition, the backup generators will be evaluated and replaced, providing safe and reliable backup electricity to the WTRF.
