Description
The Bay County Board of County Commissioners (County) seeks bids from qualified contractors for the stabilization of Nehi Road. The total project length is approximately 2.2 miles and includes a segments of the existing road located both west and south of Cherokee Heights Road. The project limits extend eastward from U.S. 231 and then southward from the intersection with Cherokee Heights Road to Star Avenue. The project area will be stabilized with asphaltic concrete pavement, sod, rubble rip-rap stabilization, and providing adequate roadside shoulders and swales for the treatment and conveyance of stormwater runoff. The project will also include the replacing of select existing drainage structures (side drains and cross drains) and the construction of a stormwater management pond. Bonds Required. Prevailing Wages.
