Description
The work consists of, removing and replacing existing asphalt
pavement, concrete curb and gutter, access ramp, sidewalk, cross gutter and re-striping including furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment, in accordance with the project plans as specified hereinafter, project specifications as specified hereinafter for the City of Whittier, Los Angeles County, State of California, and in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (The Greenbook), 2018 Edition. Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, tools, materials, appliances, and equipment to complete the project and be responsible for obtaining and paying for all required permits from Caltrans, Los Angeles County, Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR), and a no fee excavation permit(s) for the project from the City of Whittier, Public Works Department. The Contractor shall commence ordering all materials within ten (10) days after notification that the contract has been executed and shall be completed within one hundred and sixty (160) working days after date set forth to start work in the NTC. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
