NEW BID DATE North Long Beach Collection Main Control Valve Upgrade (EO-3435), Long Beach, CA

Site 1: (Cherry Avenue) The Work shall include but not be limited to furnishing all labor, equipment and materials necessary to remove and dispose of existing sump pump and associated discharge piping, pressure transmitter and pressure sensing line, vault cover, electrical junction boxes and electrical conduit; install new pressure transmitter and sensing line, 2-inch hot tap of existing 24-inch water main; install new sump pump and associated discharge piping; install new electrical junction boxes, electrical wiring; install new RTU, meter pedestal, light fixture and electrical conduit, antenna pole and antenna; perform PLC programming, SCADA programming and system integration; perform two pipeline condition assessment inspections on the existing 24-inch water main with two different assessment technologies (both assessments will utilize a tethered tool as shown on the plans); and all other incidental work items as specified in the construction plans and Contract Documents, complete and operable. Site 2: (Wardlow Avenue) The Work shall include but not be limited to furnishing all labor, equipment and materials necessary to remove and dispose of existing meter box and steel lid, electric operator and vertical shaft, 16-inch cast iron piping and an owner-furnished 16-inch butterfly valve and actuator; remove 24-inch piping, meter pedestal and instrument container; install new concrete precast vault with steel ladder and double leaf hatch; install new 16-inch and 24-inch ductile iron piping and fittings and pressure gauges; install new 16-inch butterfly valve with electric actuator; install new air vent assembly with 8-inch vent piping; install new sump pump with 2-inch sump pump discharge piping; install new electrical junction boxes, electrical wiring; install new RTU, meter pedestal, light fixture and electrical conduit, antenna pole and antenna; perform PLC programming, SCADA programming and system integration; CCTV inspection; perform two condition assessment inspections on the existing 24-inch water main with two different assessment technologies (one assessment will utilize a SeeSnake tool and the other assessment will utilize an external acoustical tool as shown on the plans); and all other incidental work items as specified in the construction plans and Contract Documents, complete and operable.
