Description
The work consists of harvesting designated and marked merchantable timber in three stands of approximately 64 acres in the Corvallis Forest and transporting to the City-designated mills. The operation is primarily ground-based thinning and selection harvest to be operated in the fall 2021 through June 2022. Stands are comprised predominantly of 60- to 100-year old Douglas fir, with both older and younger trees present. A total of ± 1,045,000 board feet of Douglas fir is planned for harvest. Bonds Required. Prevailing Wages.
