New & Revised Major Signing I-95 Corridor ITS, Philadelphia, PA

This Project is for upgrade and expansion of the existing Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) network. The ITS work includes Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance cameras, Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), Arterial Dynamic Message Signs (ADMS), an Automated Truck Rollover Warning System (ATRWS), a Smart Parking Management System (SPMS), and a New District 6-0 ITS Network to support all the ITS devices. The devices and locations scoped for this project will fit into PennDOT's overall I-95 Interstate ITS Completion Plan and are in accordance with District 6-0 Interstate ITS Deployment Plan. The devices will be connected into PennDOT's fiber optic communications system and will be ultimately managed from PennDOT's RTMC, located in the District 6-0 office in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania and other miscellaneous construction, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for State Route 0095, Section GR8, in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties. The project includes placement of ITS devices along state roads: SR 0001, SR 0063, SR 0076, SR 0095, SR 0291, SR 0295, SR 0476, SR 2202, SR 8001, and SR 8025. DBE goal 5%. Prequalification required.
