Description
As a result of the March 2020 Magna earthquake event, the Rio Grande Depot suffered significant structural damage. Currently the building is undergoing extensive seismic studies and building and material analysis to develop a seismic retrofit and renovation design. Upon completion of ongoing investigations and testing, DFCM is looking for the contracting team to engage with the current team to assist with developing the final construction documents and plan to complete the necessary structural and seismic upgrades, providing insight on logistics, safety and project budgeting. Additional exploratory work may be necessary, in addition to the repairing and replacing of elements – concrete, masonry, steel - disturbed during testing. Construction and renovations would begin immediately upon completion and approval of the final construction documents. Question Submission Close Date 8/27/2021 3:00 PM MDT
