Supply Only Bid: RFP for 18 Generators for Water & Wastewater Facilities, Santa Rosa, CA

The City of Santa Rosa (CITY) seeks to furnish eighteen (18) emergency power generator systems (gensets) at critical water and wastewater facilities. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit qualifications and proposals from parties seeking to provide all replacement gensets for this project. Through this RFP, the CITY will (1) select a supplier and manufacturer for gensets to be installed in this project, (2) tentatively identify the models of gensets to be installed at each location and (3) establish a purchase order for these models, including an agreement to provide technical assistance during the development of design documents. The supplier will coordinate delivery to the installation contractor, as awarded through a federally funded public works bidding process. The selected supplier may be listed as a subcontractor in the subsequent construction award, and additionally may be subject to all terms and contract provisions therein. The supplier will be held to compliance of any and all Federal, State and Local requirements. There is no construction associated with this bid.
