Bridge/Culvert Replacement: N Frugality Powell Rn Culvert, Reade, PA

This project is for the removal of four existing structures and replacement of one bridge and three box culverts in Cambria County on SR 0053 (Glendale Valley Road). The existing R.C. T-Beam Structure which carries SR 0053, Section 01B over Powell Run will be replaced with a Single Span Composite Prestressed Concrete Box Beam Bridge. The existing R.C. Slab Structure which carries SR 0053, Section 03B over Sandy Run will be replaced with a 18’-0” x 5’-0” Precast Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert. The existing R.C. Slab Structure which carries SR 0053, Section 04B over Fallentimber Run will be replaced with a 16’-0” x 9’-0” Precast Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert. The existing R.C. Slab Structure which carries SR 0053, Section 05B over Clear Creek will be replaced with a 11’-0” x 4’-0” Precast Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert. The proposed work is for the replacement of one bridge structure and three box culverts including roadway approach work, drainage and guide rail upgrades, and other miscellaneous construction, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for State Route 0053, Section 01b, In Cambria County, Reade Township at the locations indicated on the plans in the bid package.
