Water Hammer Hazard Mitigation, High Lift Pump Room and Panola Pump Station Improvements. New Orleans, LA

The Project contemplated consists of general construction Work of the High Lift Pump Room and the Panola Pump Station Improvements. The High Lift Pump Room improvements includes modifications to PMP-210 and PMP-220, new discharge valves and piping, vacuum priming system modifications, PMP-210 and PMP-220 replacement of rotating assemblies including impellers and increased shaft size to add anti-rotation back-spin prevention devices, site work, earthwork, structural and electrical and I&C modifications, and other miscellaneous improvements. The Panola Pump Station improvements includes modifications to PMP-310 and PMP-320, complete rehabilitation of PMP-310, and replacement of the rotating assemblies to PMP-310 and PMP-320 including impellers and increased shaft size to add anti-rotation back-spin prevention devices, new vacuum priming system, new discharge valves and piping, yard piping, site work, earthwork, structural and electrical and I&C modifications, and other miscellaneous improvements. Work is located at Carrollton Water Purification Plant at 8800 South Claiborne Avenue for Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans. The Work will be completed in all respects within 550 calendar days from the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Insurance Required. Bonds.
