Sonoma State University Copeland Creek Streambank Repair, Rohnert Park, CA

Work within the project area includes excavation and reconstructing the southern bank of Copeland Creek adjacent to the existing site improvements. The work will include the use of bio-restoration processes that incorporates hardscape features such as large rocks along with planting and erosion control measures. The area of rock placement will encompass approximately 48 square feet of the southern bank and be located below the ordinary high water mark. Total excavated area is estimated to be 180 square feet (0.004 acres), approximately 15 feet in width and 12 feet in depth. The work will include a cut of a maximum of 20 cubic yards and net fill of 20 cubic yards of materials that includes 9 cubic yards of engineered fill and 11 cubic yards of rock. The work is anticipated to be conducted over a period of approximately 30 days. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
