Dewitt Rd Outfall Ditch Project. Conway, SC

The work under the resulting contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and all items and services of every nature whether particularly mentioned or not that is required to complete: Clear and clean approximately 4,800 linear feet of the Dewitt Rd Outfall Ditch and the adjacent easement access-way. Clearing will consist of mulching all wooden vegetation and vegetation in general in the ditch and within the easement access-way. The work will also consist of clearing any blockages in the ditch such as beaver dams, sediment deposits, and debris. While cleaning the ditch any spoil material removed from the ditch shall be spread evenly on the 25’ easement access-way. The spoil material shall be leveled to allow drainage from the property to continue to flow. Grade shots shall be taken and documented every 100 linear feet to show positive drainage in the ditch. Grade shots shall be taken near the center line of the ditch. Once completed with the cleaning and the clearing, any disturbed areas (easement and ditch banks) shall be seeded with “Carolina Coastal Seed Mixture-Seasonal”. Work shall be completed within 90 Calendar Days. Goods and Services solicited in this IFB may be purchased with Grant and/or Federal Funds.
