Description
The proposed tree removal project is located in Gila and Navajo counties on US 60
between MP 301 to MP 339.50, excluding MP 303-304, MP 311.2-311.7, MP 315.3- 315.7,
MP 316-316.3, MP 316.5-317.5, MP 320.4-321.7 and MP 323.7-324.1 within the Fort
Apache Indian Reservation, USDA Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest and City of Show
Low. The work consists of existing tree and shrub removal within the roadway clear zone.
The work also includes seeding, pruning, chipping, cutting, hauling and stockpiling of
usable firewood, and other related work. This project is located on a Native American Reservation, in the Fort Apache Indian Reservation area, which may subject the contractor to the laws and regulations of the White Mountain Apache Tribe and its TERO office. Contractors are advised to make themselves aware of any taxes, fees or any conditions that may be imposed by the White Mountain Apache Tribe on work performed on the Reservation. The time allowed for the completion of the work included in this contract will be 40 working days. Prequalification required. Bonds and prevailing wages
