Lock & Dam Miter Gate Repair, The Dalles, OR

Total Small Business Set-Aside, NAICS Code: 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. Access to the work site is on The Dalles side. The repair work includes a survey of the gate position and plumbness, optional adjustments to the miter and quoin block assemblies, modification of the existing concrete sill, replacement of the bottom j-bulb seal, and miter gate structural adjustments and or modifications. The miter gate structural adjustments include gate diagonal tension adjustments and if required, adjusting the gate alignment on the pintle, quoin, and or gudgeon assemblies. The miter gate modifications include the installation of a torsion box between horizontal girders at the bottom of each of the gates and removing and reinstalling skin cover plates to allow for USACE inspection of the existing crack. This effort is to include all associated works required and described within this Contract package. Bonds, insurance & prevailing min wages apply.
