Description

The City of Sisters (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified solar PV providers to design, engineer, build and install (2) turn-key rooftop photovoltaic (solar) systems of 25 kW each at the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 1000 S. Locust Street, Sisters, Oregon. The goals of the project include making progress towards the city’s renewable energy goals, reduce grid electricity purchases and electricity costs and reduce the city’s impact on the climate by reducing our greenhouse gas emissions. Proposers shall be accredited, bonded, and/or licensed per State of Oregon requirements to assess solar need, design, and installation of system. Proposal shall include two separate PV systems on one roof. One system shall interconnect into solar building’s electrical service and the other system connects into a 480V service at the lab building, west of the installation site by approximately 515 ft. Proposal assumes standing seam metal roof with engineered capacity for extra load of solar arrays (3-5psf). City of Sisters to provide trench and underground conduit between buildings. Proposers shall provide five (5) hard copies of their proposal clearly marked as “City of Sisters Wastewater Treatment Plant Solar System Project”. Bonds and Prevailing Wages.
