Water Main Extension to the Surfside WWTF, Nantucket, MA

Scope of services: 2,700 LF 12” Watermain extension for the Surfside Wastewater Treatment Facility at 81 S. Shore RD, Nantucket, MA 02554. The work shall include 24 service taps, Tripp Drive future tee, 3 hydrants, a blow-off termination and service main with valves connecting to the existing well service line that feeds the facility. The work shall include separation of four (4) existing housing units with connection outside of the perimeter fence and installation of four (4) individual meters inside each basement. The work to be performed will include, but not be limited to, the installation water services, water mains, fire hydrants, road reconstruction and grading, delivery of materials and other appurtenances ancillary to the Wannacomet water distribution systems. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials required to perform the work described in this section. Contractor shall also have access to specialized equipment as necessary. For example, the required use of dewatering equipment. Contractor shall also provide the labor, equipment and materials to restore the work area to its pre-work condition.
