Hager Park Storm Drain Installation, Hagerstown, MD

The City of Hagerstown is requesting a price proposal from your firm for the Hager Park Storm Drain Installation. This lump sum scope of work is per drawing 31-339-01 and the following: Remove undesirable vegetation at upstream failure area and dispose; Sediment control following a "Standard Plan" attached. The disturbance is estimated at under 5,000 SF; Grading, excavation (unclassified) and disposal of excess soil at approved site, Reestablish drainage swale and embankment shall be compacted per Maryland 378 Pond Specs; Install 250'+ of 24" per SD-040 HDPE (already on site) and connect to existing inlet and manhole. Use bedding stone on site, provide any additional needed; Install manhole / inlet to grade (base structure on site); Dispose of existing corrugated metal storm drain, fill areas.; Place 4" topsoil and establish turf (5% retainage held until turf established); and All other related items necessary to complete the work. City staff will provide construction stakeout. Q&A due by close of business, 9/10/21.
