Overhead Door Maintenance and Repairs, El Paso, TX

The City of El Paso is soliciting bids for Overhead Door Maintenance and Repairs, primarily for the Streets and Maintenance. The City shall order all of its supplies and/or services from one successful bidder (contractor) from time to time as needed. The initial term of this contract shall be for: thirty-six (36) months. The Contractor agrees to cover all equipment items listed in the attached equipment list twenty-four (24) hours a day, three hundred sixty-five (365) days a year. In the event of a breakdown of any item listed, the Contractor shall: Have personnel available to receive notification from Municipal Service - Maintenance Department personnel; and/or return the phone call and or Email within half (1/2) an hour of call being placed by the Municipal Service - Maintenance Department personnel. Provide maintenance personnel, on-site within two (2) hours after receiving notification form Municipal Service - Maintenance Department personnel; and mitigate the immediate problem at hand. Repair the equipment within twenty-four (24) hours of arrival on-site and performing an inspection of the equipment to determine the source of failure. At the time of completion of any and all repairs, the contractor will report back to the Facilities Maintenance office or the person that placed the call for repairs. Prevailing wages apply.
