Description
The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as VDOT) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide specified crews and equipment for the clearing and removal of vegetative or other large debris from VDOT right of ways that may be blocking or impeding traffic. This IFB is specific for emergency situations to remove debris generated by Governor Declared State of Emergencies, inclement weather events, or any other event designated by VDOT. Emergency Debris Removal Services will be performed on primary and secondary roads throughout Prince William County in the Northern Virginia District. Request for services will be on an on call, as needed basis, and may occur during inclement weather conditions or other emergencies. Period of contract: : One year from date of award with two (2) optional one-year renewal periods. Q&A due 5 days prior to bid. SBE documentation required.
