CMAR VAHS Building Expansion Project, Vail, AZ

The District is requesting statements of qualifications for RFQ 22-004-27 Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Services for Vail Unified School District No. 20, Vail Academy and High School, located at 7762 E. Science Park Drive, Tucson, AZ 85747. The project is estimated to be between 12,000 and 14,000 square feet, and is to include modification of the existing playground and expansion of the student drop off and parking areas. Contractors should be aware that maintenance of the Project Schedule as identified under Project Description is of utmost importance to the District. This proposal shall include pre-construction services required to assist the Architect in the production of construction drawings and provide CMAR services to construct the Project. The District will require the selected firm to be able to proceed with required services within five (5) days after award of the Contract and issuance of a Purchase Order, and that a Project Manager, acceptable to the District, be assigned to the District's Project. The successful contractor shall enter into a single Construction Management Contract for Pre-Construction Services between the District and Contractor. The District may contract with a contractor for construction services if the contractor provides an acceptable guaranteed maximum price to District. The District is not required to obtain permits or pay permit fees pursuant to the provisions of A.R.S. 34-461(D) and (G). Deadline for questions is September 8, 2021 by 10:00am.
