Total Small Business Set-Aside, NAICS Code: 238910 - Site Preparation Contractors. Work consists of the Contractor providing all necessary labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, supervision for asbestos abatement, demolition of two buildings (lockmaster’s residence and the shop building), remove the demolition debris and Conex structure, and grade and re-seed site. The contractor shall submit a copy of an Asbestos Removal Permit obtained from the North Carolina Health Hazards Control Unit prior beginning work. During contract performance the Contractor shall provide air monitoring and clearance once the asbestos removal is complete, provide a written report documenting the removal and proper disposal of all asbestos containing materials including a receipt of disposal and chain of custody document. The Contractor shall be certified in the removal, treatment, handling, and disposal of asbestos-containing material, and the subsequent cleaning of the affected environment, and shall comply with Federal and State Regulations which mandate work practices. Asbestos must be removed in accordance with, but not limited to: EPA, State of North Carolina, and OSHA asbestos regulations. Bonds, insurance & min prevailing wages apply.
