Description
Total Small Business Set-Aside, NAICS Code: 237130 - Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction. The Contractor shall be responsible for the following: • Contractor shall remove and dispose of the defective cable approximately 1,000 feet. • Existing antenna shall be removed and disposed of by Contractor. • Contractor shall install a new 1 5/8 inch hardline cable (LDF 7-50A or equivalent) approximately 900 feet in length with suitable tower mounting clamps, suitable gender N
type hardline connectors, an antenna to feedline jumper, grounding clamps to be located at approximately every 75 feet with a minimum of one at the antenna base, mid cable, and at ground level prior to entering the equipment shed at the external copper buss bar. Hardline will terminate in a Decibel DB-224 Antenna (VHF) Model mounted at the 760FT level. • The Contractor shall provide a 4-foot HS4-K w/R5 standoff mount along with the LLEG-K kit to attach the antenna mounting bracket to the tower leg at the antenna mounting height. • The Contractor shall provide grounding clamps. • The Contractor shall RF test to dummy load and new antenna. • The feed line is to be secured to the tower to industry standards and routed to the interior of the radio site building. • Contractor shall ensure that all connections are completely weather proofed and sealed to prevent water and moisture penetration. • The Contractor shall be responsible for all trash and debris removal. • Work may require working after hours or weekends if broadcast company cannot use their backup antenna to turn power down during daylight hours.
