Re-Bid Sports Center at Rothery Electrical Installation, Sierra Vista, AZ

This project will sever electric service between the Rothery Sports Center and the Sierra Vista Unified School District. A new transformer will be installed adjacent to the Rothery Sports Center to provide power to the Sports Center and offer options for future City Park improvements. The Rothery Sports Center Building is located at 3401 E Fry Blvd Sierra Vista, AZ 85635. The installation of conduit and a transformer pad is needed for Sulphur Springs Valley Electric to extend a new primary service from an existing overhead power line to a new transformer. The contractor will be required to: Trench, Install, and Backfill - - 6-3” Schedule 40 PVC, sweeps, and stub outs – approx. 150 LF ea.; at a minimum depth of 52”. Note that the City will furnish the contractor with linear runs of conduit. Construct transformer pad per SSVEC requirements. The conduit needed for the extension of secondary service from the new transformer to a new service panel that will replace the existing service subpanel, will require the contractor to: Trench, Install, and Backfill - - 1-4” Schedule 40 PVC and sweeps – approx. 50 LF at a minimum depth of 36”. Note that the City will furnish the contractor with the linear lengths of conduit. Secure Building Permit for the removal and replacement existing service subpanel with new service panel and meter for building. Contractor shall be fully responsible for providing all drawings, calculations, and/or references required to secure the Building Permit. The Contractor shall also be responsible for coordinating all work and inspections required to complete this effort. Remove old service panel and install new with new service panel/meter base per SSVEC and building permit standards. Tie in service panel into existing building power supply and secondary supply from transformer. Note that SSVEC will pull wire through inspected conduit for this project. Any apparatus, appliance, material, or work not shown on the Drawings, but mentioned in the Specifications, or vice versa, or any incidental appurtenances necessary for the system to operate as to the intent of this Specification, even if not particularly specified, shall be included in the bid price and furnished, delivered, and installed by the Contractor without additional expense to the City of Sierra Vista. It is understood and agreed that all work under this Contract shall commence within fourteen (14) calendar days of the Notice to Proceed and shall be entirely completed within 30 calendar days.
