Subcontractors for Christiansburg Downtown Gathering Space Project, Christiansburg, VA

The Town of Christiansburg is preparing to carry out the Christiansburg Downtown Gathering Space project through the use of Appalachian Regional Commission funds. In the implementation of this project the following kinds of contracts will be issued and procurements made: a. Construction of a wood and/or metal arcade structure on Hickok Street in downtown Christiansburg to serve as a farmers market location and community gathering space; b. Subcontracts may include work for electrical, landscaping, curbs and walkways, masonry for signage and seating. Christiansburg is soliciting the participation of minority-owned and female-owned businesses, contractors and suppliers in carrying out this project. Such businesses may be included on appropriate bid and procurement lists by submitting a written request within ten (10) days of this notice. Requests should state the name, address, product or service, and how the firm qualifies as a minority or female owned business concern.
