Wastewater Pump Station Comminutors Installation Project, Charlottesville, VA

The Albemarle County Service Authority (ACSA) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the Contract No. 2019-04 Wastewater Pump Station Comminutors. This contract consists of the installation of comminutors and associated electrical and SCADA integration controls at the ACSA's existing Glenmore, Crozet, and Georgetown Green Wastewater Pump Stations (WWPS). The work involves the installation of the comminutor's guiderail system within existing wet wells at two pump station sites, including the replacement of the existing wet well access hatches for future maintenance of the comminutors. The remaining pump station site will include the installation of an assembly unit consisting of a prefabricated manhole with internal comminutor and guiderail system. Pavement repair at each site will be needed in additional to continual bypass pumping throughout the installation process, performance testing, and acceptance of the work by the ACSA. Drawings and Project Manual for the above project may be obtained from the office of the ASCA, 168 Spotnap Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22911. No partial sets of the drawings and/or Project Manual will be issued. Contract Documents may be obtained upon a non-refundable payment of $75 per set.
