Description
This is a partial design-build project. Design activities are limited to ADA curb ramps and traffic signal interconnect. This safety improvement project includes new construction of pedestrian bumpouts, ADA-compliant curb ramps, curb, sidewalk, raised medians, mill and overlay, a shared-use path, guide rail and end treatments, pavement markings, and signing. This project also includes new or upgraded traffic signal installations at 8 intersections. This project also includes storm drainage, water facility relocation, and green stormwater infrastructure in accordance with PWD standards. This work and other miscellaneous construction is as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for State Route 4001, Section SI2, in Philadelphia County, City of Philadelphia from approximately 200’ south of Roberts Street at segment 0020/0021 offset 1511/1487 to approximately 100’ north of Barnes Street at segment 0060/0061 offset 0959/0966. DBE goal 10%. Prequalification required. Prevailing wages apply.
