Judge Green Apartments Interior Renovation, Chicago, IL

This project is known as Package "B" Interior Renovation and its Scope of Work includes but is not limited to the following improvements: 1. Building Envelope: Construction of new entry vestibule and canopy. 2. Interiors: Reconfigure, renovate and/or refinish select interior spaces to improve building operations, purpose, and amenities. These spaces include but are not limited to the building's main entry, lobby/ reception area, offices and select upper floor laundry rooms. 3. Building Systems: Corridor pressurization system replacement and associated work to include roof air handlers, condensers, and toilet exhaust roof fans. Renovate 1st floor HVAC systems, install new 2-pipe fan coil units in apartments to include associated work, misc. boiler work and pump replacements, replace 1st floor’s horizontal domestic water distribution lines, and install new CATV distribution infrastructure. Be advised that a separate Exterior Renovations (Package "A") project will be bid and constructed simultaneously with Package "B". The awarded General Contractors (GC) will be required to coordinate and work collaboratively with each other to ensure construction efficiency and to minimize disruption to building residents. All work will be performed on and in an occupied senior resident building. All precautions, provisions and phased scheduling needs to be incorporated accordingly to ensure resident safety, minimize resident impact and inconvenience. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
