Paseo Vista Recreation Area Retaining Wall Renovation, Chandler, AZ

Work under this contract includes: the removal and disposal of existing aging unique retaining walls and their replacement with cast-in-place concrete retaining walls. Existing custom walls to be removed include a sloped recycled tire wall with a varied height between 1-foot and 5-foot above grade, and a 3-foot high corrugated steel-on-frame wall. Additional work includes placement of new EPDM playground surfacing at a clean-cut edge adjacent to existing EPDM, removal and replacement of engineered wood fiber playground surfacing, providing additional engineered wood fiber to refresh the affected playground area, and replacement decomposed granite at affected landscape areas adjacent to the 3-foot high retaining wall.
