Water Main Replacement Serving Newton Road, Bay Street and Oakland Avenue, Camilla, GA

Description
The Project consists of replacement of existing water mains with new PVC water mains, contractor to provide and install +/- 5,600 LF 8” PVC water main, +/- 3,400 LF 6” PVC water main, +/- 14 fire hydrants, +/- 80 linear feet of 16” jack & bore, +/- 25 water services to be transferred along with all necessary appurtenances for a complete installation per construction drawings. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. This project is expected to be funded all or in part by the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority’s (GEFA) Drinking Water State Revolving Loan fund. The construction contract will be subject to GEFA’s Supplemental General Conditions for Federally Assisted State Revolving Loan Fund Construction Contracts including Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements and Davis Bacon & Related Act requirements.
