Description
This project will make pedestrian safety and capacity improvements to the intersection of Sandy Porter Road and South Tryon Street. The project will add a left turn lane off of South Tryon onto Sandy Porter and install widened sidewalks within the project area. Length = 1300 feet. Work includes grading, storm drainage, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, accessible ramps, milling and asphalt paving, pavement markings and other related activities. Bonds and MBE/DBE/SBE participation goals apply.
