Home Maintenance Services for Seniors and Caregiver Respite, County of Burlington, NJ

The County of Burlington seeks proposals for the provision of home maintenance services for seniors per the specifications. Labor-intensive seasonal tasks such as removing snow, raking leaves, yard care, walk and driveway care, lawnmowing, weed removal, obstructive greenery removal, etc. (Approximately $25,000). Seasonal upkeep activities, such as cleaning attics, basements, and garages which can be provided by non-professional staff, tasks, such as replacing door locks, caulking windows, provision of weatherization improvements, changing screens and storm windows, minor repairs to appliances, and other minor home repairs which are necessary, installation of handrails or ramps to meet the special needs of individual elderly people due to physical disabilities; improvements and repairs to siding, doors and windows, and painting done to prevent deterioration and in conjunction with repairs.
