Description
Scope of Work: I-285 Bridge over Clark Howell Hwy - Bridge ID: 063-0099-0 33°37'54.51"N, 84°24'35.72"W. Steps for relocating the bearing. 1. Jack all the Steel Box Girders at Bent 4 (maximum of 1 inches). 2. Clean and Rearrange the shifted bearing. 3. Epoxy top of the elastomeric bearing pad to sole plate attached to bottom of the girder. 4. And lower the Steel Box Girder Beams to its original location. 5. Submit the shop drawing for the jacking plans for Bridge office to review per special provision 518 – Raising Existing Bridge. Bonds required.
