The Work under this Contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to furnishing all labor, services, equipment, materials, and devices required for the installation of a new 20-inch and 24-inch PVC sewer force main and associated manholes, valves, connections, and appurtenances; the removal and legal disposal of existing vitrified clay/asbestos cement gravity sewer mains, services, and manholes; installation of new PVC gravity sewer mains and associated manholes, service connections, and appurtenances; installation of temporary sewer bypass systems; removal and legal disposal of existing cast iron/ductile iron/asbestos cement water mains, services, and appurtenances; installation of new ductile iron water mains and associated service connections, hydrants, valves, and appurtenances; installation of temporary water bypass systems; removal and legal disposal of existing stormwater systems; installation of new stormwater systems including piping, manholes, and catch basins; installation of temporary dewatering systems; installation of erosion control measures; and temporary and permanent surface restoration (e.g. bituminous concrete/brick/cobblestone/Belgian Block pavers/granite sidewalks, aprons, ramps, and roadways) as specified in the Contract Documents. Completion time for the project will be calculated as calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed as follows: 1,035 calendar days for substantial completion and 1,095 calendar days for final completion.
