Description
The Work includes but is not limited to: installing approximately 3.5 miles of new 60 kV transmission line to increase the capacity and reliability of Silicon Valley Power’s South, East, and Center Loop circuits. The transmission conductor is bundled 715 kcmil ACCR “Stilt”, and includes the installation of 54 direct embedded light duty steel poles, and 27 custom tubular steel monopoles supported on drilled concrete piers. A portion of the transmission line is a replacement of an existing transmission line. Other portions will include existing distribution lines, while other segments will consist of re-conductoring transmission line spans. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supervision, and specified materials needed for a completed project. 120 working days. Bonds. Prevailing Wages.
