Description

his project provides for the replacement of the Federal Building roof. (Federal Building aka Comicon-Building). The Federal Building was built in 1936 and is in Balboa Park. The roof has leaked in the past, mainly in the upstairs offices in the front of the building. Some patching has occurred and currently has some minor leaks. Per the Condition Assessment the Roof coverings have reached the end of their life cycle. This project will tearoff all existing roofing and insulation to the wooden deck, replace any or all rotted wood, install new covering and base flashing at walls, curb, and penetrations. Project duration is 150 working days. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply. Total mandatory SLBE & ELBE participation 3.7% Submit GFE documentation.
