Description
The City of Fitchburg is inviting bids for the labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the Hangar Door Replacement at Municipal Airport. Scope of services: Provide and install one (1) approximately 60’ X 14’-10” hydraulic door. Contractor shall re-take all measurements prior to installation to verify size. The City is not responsible for purchase of an incorrectly sized door. Door system shall be a self-contained electric door with door columns and truss. Bi-fold door shall include: steel frame with two columns, wind struts, diagonal bracing, sheeting angle on truss, top, center, side jambs and bottom rubber door seals, 230-volt single phase top mount electric operator with pre-wired 3-station push button control, 4-cable pick up, 115 mph ultimate wind speed design, and manual door locks with lock out safety switch and safety override switch. Door package shall include sheeting/trim, fasteners, white banding, closure strips, and 4” R-13 WMP-10 faced insulation or better. Construction shall be completed by October 31, 2021.
