Description
Scope of Work includes: a) Mowing: Fields shall be cut twice a week. All mowers shall be adjusted to at least 1 inch cutting height as directed by the County, shall use Reel Mowers (no Rotary Mowers), shall be in good repair, shall have no oil or gas leaks, and shall be equipped with sharp blades. b) Chemical Fertilize/Weed Control: All fields shall be at least a 6- point program (please include program) At sites that are to be maintained free of weeds and overgrowth of grass by a chemical weed control product, caution shall be taken not to damage any existing plants, vegetation, or property. Contractor shall be responsible for the replacement of any such damaged property. The contractor shall present the Director of Pars and Recreation with a Material Safety Data Sheet on all weed control products to be approved for use. c) CLEANING: Sites are to be cleared of any and all debris before mowing. (Paper, Bottles, Large Rocks, Etc.) Trash receptacles and urns are to be emptied and maintained. d) Aeration: Aerify all fields twice a year. e) Edging: Fields shall be edged every 6 to 8 weeks and kept neat in appearance as part of each grass cut. Fences at all contracted sites are to be maintained weed and vine free. f) Other: Soil samples taken once a year, top dress fields once a year (USGA certified sand). Maintenance schedule shall be included. 3. Equipment: Contractor shall be responsible for providing and storing of all equipment, chemicals, supplies, etc.
