Design-Build: Pulaski County Courthouse Renovation & Coroner's Office Addition, Waynesville MO

Owner is requesting A&E and Design-Build firms. Renovation and New Construction: Pulaski County requests qualifications from firms with a strong background in planning and design of judicial and courthouse facilities, to provide a comprehensive design/engineering plan that will be used as a preliminary design for additional space in the Courthouse. Partnerships between qualified firms with differing areas of expertise are encouraged. The focus of the Courthouse renovation and Coroner’s office addition will be as follows: 1. Addition of Coroner’s Office (Approximately 1,200 square feet) Conceptual sketch included in RFQ. 2. Overall existing Courthouse renovation 3. Identification and initial investigation of possible locations for added space at the Commissioners direction. 4. Developing a basic volume design and location of future facilities. 5. An estimate of probable costs to design and construct. In developing the Plan, the selected firm will work closely with representatives from the various occupants in the Courthouse to develop the immediate and long-term needs for the facility. The Plan should culminate in a written report of findings to be presented to the County Commission. Following review, the firm should also be prepared to present the findings to the Board of Commissioners in a public meeting.
