Description

All labor, materials, and equipment needed to complete the demolition, hauling, disposal, and site restoration of the Cape May County Sheriffs Annex Building. Work includes but is not limited to: Complete demolition and removal of structure, foundations, piping, contents and mechanical and electrical equipment. Complete demolition and removal of all above and below ground structures, concrete slabs and foundations and underground utilities (water, wastewater, electrical, etc.). Removals of all material, equipment, rubble, debris, and other products of the demolition. Fill and compact all voids left by the removal of pipe, structures, etc. with clean material, to a grade consistent with the surrounding areas. There is no evidence of hazardous materials present in the building. However, any hazardous materials encountered during demolition must be disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations. Trees that will be saved, will be clearly marked for preservation and must be protected from any damage. The driveway and parking lot on Block 115.02, Lot 1, 110 Crest Haven Road shall remain. Facilities & Services will restrict parking in areas adjacent to the building to be demolished from the start of the work until completion. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
