Renovation: Montross Middle & Cople Elementary Security Vestibule Projects, Montross, VA

Separate sealed bids for the renovation/addition of a security entrance at Montross Middle School and Couple Elementary School. Montross Middle School Project Description: The project consists of a new secure entrance for visitors through an existing masonry wall. The new secure entrance shall have a canopy that varies based on the alternate selected on bid day. As Base bid the canopy shall be a pre-manufactured protective cover with internal draining. The Add Alternate includes a steel framed canopy with metal wall and soffit panels and single ply PVC roofing membrane. The Base Bid includes a new gravel drive aisle and student drop off in front of the new secure entrance with various Alternates for surfacing. In addition, the project includes an additional 25 parking spaces as a deduct alternate. Cople Elementary School Project Description: The Project consists of the construction of a new set of interior vestibule doors with some minor associated interior renovations. Projects for both schools are to be bid as a single project with values separated for each on the Bid Form.
