Bulk Road Salt, Carroll Co., MD

Carroll County Bureau of Roads Operations requires a vendor to supply and deliver bulk road salt as needed to various locations within Carroll County for snow and ice control. Carroll County requires approximately 23,000 tons of salt annually but there is no minimum or maximum guaranteed by this contract. It will be the intent of Carroll County Government to purchase all of its normal requirements for the duration of the contract from the successful contractor and the successful contractor shall make a good faith effort to supply the quantities required by the county at the price bid for the duration of the contract. Should the successful contractor be unable to supply the quantities required within the time required the county will reserve the right to secure such quantities from another vendor with no financial obligation due the successful contractor.
