Description
Maintenance Service Requirements: Limited Inspection/Maintenance Service: The vendor shall furnish, for the County, limited inspection/maintenance service coverage for the scheduled equipment inclusive of the following: Minor replacement parts with a value of $100.00 or less; Minor labor to install parts in “1)”; Emergency service on a billable basis; Annual winter overhaul maintenance; Seasonal start-up; Total of seven (7) operational preventative maintenance inspections, one per month, April through October; Oil analysis report; Written reports; Annual operators training; Annual cooling tower maintenance; Equipment, personnel and management supervision necessary for proper execution of the
specifications. The replacement of oil and refrigerant as required for each individual facility shall be on a billable basis upon authorization of the designated Broome County representative. Furnish minor replacement parts up to $100.00 in cost each as necessary. Major parts and minor parts over $100.00 value will be billed as an extra cost item. Furnish labor necessary to install minor class replacement parts. Labor to install major parts and parts over $100.00 value shall be billed as an extra cost item. This service shall cover all breakdowns associated with the operation of the scheduled equipment. The vendor shall
maintain the scheduled equipment in such condition that it may be operated and utilized at its original capacity and intended use. All Broome Community College equipment listed needs to include 4 filters, 1 belt change along with 2 condenser coil cleanings per year.
All Broome County and BCC boilers preventive maintenances are to be done per manufacturer specifications including all new gaskets, igniters, sensors etc. per year. Full Maintenance Service: This service shall cover all breakdowns associated with the operation of the scheduled equipment. The vendor shall maintain the scheduled equipment in such condition that it may be operated and utilized at its original capacity and intended use. All parts, labor, materials and emergency service to be included in contract. The term of the contract will be for one year and will commence on or about November 1, 2021 and terminate on October 31, 2022. Broome County shall have the option, upon mutual agreement with the vendor, to renew this agreement for Four (4) periods of one year upon the same terms and conditions, except that the amount payable shall be increased, decreased, or remain the same.
