Janitorial Services for the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena, Binghamton, NY

Broome County is seeking janitorial services for the interior of the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena, located at 1, Stuart St, Binghamton, NY. The County shall furnish all equipment necessary to clean the building properly, such as: mops, mop pails and wringers, dust mops, treated cloths, sponges, pails, squeegees, cleaning cloths, brooms, dust pans, rubber gloves, and brushes. The County shall furnish all necessary materials used as cleaning agents, soap, disinfectants, bowl cleaners, shampoo soap, and plastic refuse bags. Access to the buildings will be controlled by the County. The Contractor is expected to keep the seating are clean, and free from dust and dirt, including: Pick up all garbage and recycling from the seating area, Sweep the entire seating area clear of all loose garbage and debris, Mop the entire seating area, Wipe down all seats with cleaner and disinfectant, and Garbage will be deposited in dumpsters provided by the County. Note: a disinfectant must be used in all cleaning water. The term of the contract will be for one year and will commence on or about October 1, 2021 and terminate on September 30, 2022 following the approval of the County’s Board of Acquisition and Contract (BAC), execution of a standard Broome County Contract and receipt and approval of a satisfactory 'certificate of insurance w/endorsement’.
