Electrical Traffic Control Devices & Lighting Maintenance & Repair Services, El Cerrito, CA

The selected Contractor will provide these routine maintenance and repair services and emergency response for various equipment and devices, including (but not limited to) City-owned traffic signals and streetlighting, pedestrian-level lights, Ohlone Greenway lighting beneath the BART aerial guideway, trail lighting, flashing beacons, in-pavement crosswalk lights, radar speed feedback signs, and City parking lot lighting. In addition, the Contractor will provide as-needed services for installation of new or upgraded electrical traffic control and lighting equipment, maintenance and repair services of indoor and outdoor lighting equipment for various City facilities, and other minor electrical work for various City facilities. Finally, as an optional item, the Contractor will respond to the City’s Underground Service Alert requests and adequately mark all electrical traffic control device conduits and traffic signal interconnect/communication lines, including street lights on behalf of the City in accordance with California Government Code Section 4216 et seq.). The Contractor will furnish all necessary materials, equipment, labor, fuel and incidentals as required, to perform such maintenance and repair services as specified in this Request for Proposals (RFP).
