This work for Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport consists of bituminous milling, bituminous pavement repairs, placement of bituminous surface course, concrete curb repairs, and other miscellaneous repair work for the main vehicle parking area adjacent to the airport office and FBO. Bituminous pavement repairs will consist of the full depth removal and replacement of bituminous concrete pavement and subgrade materials at locations designated by the Engineer. Smaller cracks less than 1-1/2-inch wide will be sealed or filled with hot-applied mastic sealant. Cracks larger than 1-1/2 wide will be filled with hot-applied mastic sealant. Concrete curb repairs will consist of the removal and replacement of broken curb at locations designated by the Engineer and shown in the plans. Additive Alternate 1 is the replacement of the existing concrete parking blocks with new concrete parking blocks. Additive Alternate 2 consists of the repair of the HMA pavement to be used as the staging area. Damage to the pavement outside of the patch location shown caused by the Contractor’s operations shall be repaired at no cost to the Owner. The completion time for all contract work shall be thirty-one (31) calendar days from the starting date noted in the Notice to Proceed. Q&A due by 4pm, 9/16/21. MBE goal 20%. Bonds required.
