One Year Contract: Debris Grinding Services, Hamilton County TN

One (1) year unit pricing contract with three (3) one-year renewal options for Debris Grinding Services, to include grinding of trees, brush, and construction materials, including equipment services on an as-needed basis for Hamilton County Highway Department and various other County departments, as per specifications. Trees, brush, and/or construction and demolition (C&D) debris to be processed thru a grinder. It should be understood that the majority of the debris will be trees and brush; however during natural disasters and special circumstances C&D debris will need to be processed as well. A maximum of a three (3) inch size screen will be required when grinding tree and brush debris. A maximum of a twelve (12) inch screen will be required when grinding C&D debris. The successful Bidder(s) may be called upon to send equipment to locations that have been subjected to a natural disaster or similar event. A majority of the work under this contract is expected to occur on a scheduled basis and will likely be performed during the normal County workweek. However, the Contractor is expected to also respond to the County’s needs on emergency work during the day, night, weekends, and/or during natural disasters such as ice storm, tornadoes, or similar events.
